Duct Calculator Elite™ is a powerful tool specifically designed for HVAC professionals to simplify the process of duct sizing. With this app, users can accurately calculate duct size, velocity, pressure drop, and flow rate for ductwork.

Duct Calculator Elite™ boasts a highly intuitive interface that allows users to input values with precision, eliminating the need for cumbersome "slider" controls.

In "Duct Size by Airflow" mode, the calculator enables users to set airflow and either velocity or friction (Pressure Loss). The calculator then provides solutions for round and rectangular duct dimensions. Additionally, the aspect ratio for the rectangular duct can be specified.

In "Duct Size by Dimension" mode, users can enter either the diameter of a round duct or the height and width of a rectangular duct. Users also have the option to lock the airflow, velocity, or friction values to solve for the other variables.

With the "Pressure Drop" mode, users can easily convert between duct length, pressure drop, and friction values. This feature is useful for determining the exact pressure drop of a specific installation or calculating the maximum duct length required to maintain the desired pressure drop. It complements the two duct sizing calculators.

Duct Calculator Elite™ offers a wide range of preference settings, including:

 <li>Duct Dimensional Units: Inches, Centimeters, or Millimeters</li>
 <li>Airflow Units: Cubic Feet per Minute, Cubic Feet per Second, Cubic Meters per Second, or Liters per Second</li>
 <li>Velocity Units: Feet per Second, Feet per Minute, or Meters per Second</li>
 <li>Pressure Loss Units: Inches of Water per 100ft or Pascals per Meter</li>
 <li>Duct Material: Aluminum, Concrete, Fibrous Glass Duct Liner, Flexible Duct-Metallic, Galvanized Steel, PVC Plastic Pipe, Smooth Liner, Spiral Steel, or Uncoated Carbon Steel</li>
 <li>Air Temperature: Fahrenheit, Celsius, or Kelvin</li>
 <li>Elevation: Feet or Meters</li>
</ul>

The Duct Calculator Elite™ solver utilizes friction loss equations found in the 2009 ASHRAE Handbook - Fundamentals.
